i've been thinking this for a while, when they swapped the dj's around on radio 1 the other week i was listening everyday on my way into work, good music, good chat etc.
now chris moyles is back on i can manage listening to about 10 mins of him before i want to throw my radio out the window.
anyone else feel like this or am i all alone on this one?

I've swapped to radio 2 and now feel old because of his loud mouth and pigish attitude. can't stand him he should have his feet in concrete blocks and then be dropped into some of the deeper areas of the north sea.0

I'd have him in a shallow part, so that his mouth and nose are *just* submerged, but every so often the top of his head and maybe his eyes could come out of the water. Knowing that life giving oxygen was so close, but ultimately unobtainable, would destroy him mentally. yes, he should have fooked off long ago. Listening to the fat monger going on and on and on, and then going on and on and on got to me years ago.

In Seattle, EVERY station had a decent presenter who was eccentric / hilarious / stirring AND intelligent AND individual. Yet they still came across as regular guys.
The national stations were great to listen to for highly bigoted but very intelligent biatchin' as well, didn't matter if you agreed with their views.
There are no political, funny, stirring, intelligent presenters on the BBC as far as I can tell. Intelligent - yes (think radio 4), but not stirring. Funny - no.
Alice Cooper on Planet Rock is the best I have found on British morning radio so far.0 -

Nope I never could stand him, or his predecessor on BBC R1, Sarah Cox. Hated them both
I am an R2 fan now, Chris Evans rocks, although we got that Richard bloke on now, the one who's does that old lady named Judy, either way a mile better and more intellectual and R10 -

we can get XFM where i live which is my fave station but it cuts in and out when travelling to work which is annoying and a real shame.
last week was the best radio 1 has been since forever, all of the presenters and their music was infinitely better than moyles who is a wally.
that said, no matter how bad moyles is, hes no where near as atrocious as jo "i invented music" whiley, who i actively dislike, i especially hated the breathy way she used to read out the letters sent in by complete failures at life on the feature called "changing tracks" i dont know how i didnt manage to smash my audio devices through a wall when that came on.

but like i said earlier, we don't have ahuge choice of radio stations down here and i wake up everymorning with it tuned to radio 1 cos i've been listening to zane lowe the night before! that's why he's on. nation radio plays good music but i flick over when the adverts are on.
it just annoys me with chris moyles cos in general it's a good radio station, that's why i felt like posting, i pay ny license fee god damn it!! 0 -
