What shock eye-to-eye?

Not sure if anyone will know or know where to find out, but I need to know what eye-to-eye shock length I should have in my Club Roost DH8.
The shock that came in it is a 200mm Fox Vanilla R, but I think it's too long, I can't quite get it in the 8" travel setting.
Was the standard shock a 190mm? I think the came with DMN shocks didn't they?!

    a quick google seems to bring up some conflicting results, i think ti depends wha year your frame's from, some came with fox vanilla shocks as standard, and i've seen 200mm i2i quoted in a few places so it may be right.
    Any idea how old the frame is?

    I think it's a 2005 but really aint sure!
    Any thing that stands out about the frame for me to be able to know?
