Hi All

I would like to buy the new XTR brakes and have them work with HOPE HUBs Pro II's, a few questions;

Would this be possible, with a six bolt conversion kit, so I could fit XTR Rotors?

If not could I use XTR direct with 6 bolt Avid G3 rotors?

Any info would be appreciated

regards

    if your hubs are 6 bolt you have to use 6 bolt discs. it is not possible to use the splined discs.

    You can get adaptors to fit six bolt rotors to centrelock hubs, not sure about the other way round though. You should be able to use most rotors with most brakes so you could probably just use the Avid rotors, as you suggested.

    shimano do a 6 bolt xt rotor that will work perfect with your brakes. if you are planning on 180mm rotors then be aware that avids are 185mm

    I use the M985 XTR Race brakes, currently with one Avid rotor and one Hope floating. Thats 160/140. As long as the sizes are exactly the same the Avids will work.

    Good brakes too.
