Lack of grease made the pad retaining pin on my front Deore 555 disc brake seize up, so much so I stripped the inside of the bolt with my allen key.

I've not noticed before but the head is lined with some alloy/foil.

Extraction is one problem - I can't think of any solution other than cutting a slot for a screwdriver blade or some extraction tool but ideas welcomed I'm sure I'm not the only one whose done this - access is not great and its small so purchase with any other tool is difficult.

If I can get it out - does anyone know where I could buy a replacement bolt?
