anyone had one fall off their head before cos the internal plastic had snapped.
I tightened up the adjustors as normal, grippy but not crushing tight, and the link bit between the in helemet band and the adjustor snapped rendering it useless. its been worn for about 6 months, had it for 12 ish.
it also made me realise how much of a psychological thing my helmet is. Still riding at my usual ploddy pace 12-15 up the hills but I felt really exposed & didn't like not having a rear light that was visible above the cars.
whinge over, email to be sent to Dec today to see if they're aware of other similar failures.
