Brussels to Calais - Ideas?

Hi,
Thinking of doing a 2-3 day ride with the wife taking Eurostar out to Brussels then cycling back to Calais to pick it up again to go home. This will be over the w/e of 10th Feb (my 40th).
I know the weather will be variable but does anyone have any routes or places of interest that I should consider? Realistically my wife will probably limit us to 50-60 miles per day if flattish.
Many thanks.

I've just put in a Brussels to Calais directions search using the walking route option on google which takes you through spring classic country. Looks temptingNeil

Thanks, I've seen those Spring Classics, it's usually pouring with rain and freezing cold!!
Should be an interesting trip anyway.0 -
If looking for flattish tracks, check this overview:

You will note that there's not really a straight line available as the landscape west of Brussels is a bit hilly and all the rivers and canals seem to run in different directions. I'm afraid 3 days of 60 km won't be sufficient.60 bicycle trails along Belgian canals, rivers and former railway tracks : http://www.bikely.com/listpaths/by/fietslogies0 -
This map is a bit similar to my map and confirms the absence of straight forward but car free tracks:

Thanks, those are useful sites. I appreciate you taking the time to respond.0 -
I know this is completely unhelpful but I have a soft spot for the Dutch cycle network. It is frustrating if you want to do a normal sensible journey such as Den Haag to Amsterdam but otherwise rather nice. I saw a photo of Delft a coupe of days ago and felt quite tearful.0
