hi guys new to the world of f/s and bike radar
kinda got the mtb bug after 10yrs away from it ( too busy playing football)

wanted a full suspension bike on a budget and stumped up for this after trying a mondraker foxy and summon and my arms nearly fell of trying to pick the last 2 up. for some reason this just felt right, pardon the pun.

whats the general feel for felts as i couldnt find much info on them in the uk.

  • gotta admit really liking it, have you upgraded anything on yours, just curious.

as i have put a shorter 50mm stem on mine and feels much better.
  • Lovely looking covered in mud!

just realised looking at your pic that it's the same as my brother in laws :D

i've put on an SLX double and bash guard (it came with a truvativ triple) i've changed the brakes to avid elixrs and changed the spring in the fork.

but i think that yours came with SLX as standard didn't it? i wouldn't have changed anything if i had that  and your pikes are air whereas mine are coil.

but i've had mine for 2 years and i love it 8)

  • i'm just a big kid who like playing in the dirt :D , wife doesnt agree when she has to wash my kit though:lol:

think its around the 31lbs mark

the spec is pretty much stanard apart from a 50mm stem which isnt on the pics.

running full SLX chainset with triple ring.
SLx brakes all round 180mm rotor front 160mm rotor rear.
    Fox Float RP2.
    RockShox Pike 454 110-140mm Air U-Turn with 20mm maxle.
WTB Speed-disc wheels and high rollers.

going to give it a bash a whinlatter this sunday.

hopefully it wont be as muddy as the piccie.
