wheel question
Dura ace 7850SL for £449 a pair or Dura Ace 7900 hubs on IRD Aero for £550 pair?
Thinking of running Vittoria Pave evo rubber on them but might want tubeless option of the duraaces! Ideas?

that old nugget 8)
I have the 7850SLs and a good pair of handbuilts (OP ceramics on Tune mig/mags built by Hewitt) and the 7850s are very slightly better in terms of weight and performance and look great but just wouldn't stay true , whereas the handbuilts have been bullet proof and taken years of riding in all weathers and been faultless.'
So the 7850s only come out for 'competitive rides' (now they've been re-trued) and the OPs handle everything else.
I'd say the handbuilts have been the better purchase all round and so that's what I'd recommend, if you trust your builder.Facts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0
