Any tips?
While I'm shedding the Christmas pounds I think I ought to steer well clear of the lycra and stick with the baggies.
Ta!

If you're still in denial there's plenty of 3/4 length baggies with padded removable shorts or really splash out and go Rapha jeans with padded underwear.

Rule #12 // The correct number of bikes to own is n+1.

These are the best I've had (although I don't think mine have the clickfast attachments).
The best thing about them is the leg grippers, which stop them from riding up. I've tried several other (dhb, bog-standed endura ones), and they all ride up and give me aggro.
The padding is good too - thicker than others I've tried.0 -
Fox Sergeant shorts come with good removable padded inner things and the shorts themselves are great. Ditch the dodgy lycra look and join the real mens cycling club"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

Ordered a pair of these Scott padded underwear things last night. Only a tenner. Got to be worth a punt looking at the price of other very similar gear...
