Ahhh so much choice!
After the input on the last thread, I have decided to go with Ultremos for my summer tyre on the new build, I was going to get the R.1, but it seems the ZX is the newer tyre? DD is the same, but less puncture prone?
Im confused :?
Which will I be better going with, as im at a loss.
Cheers guys

As I've only used R.1 I can't comment but if the ZX is the new improved version then give that a go!Expertly coached by http://www.vitessecyclecoaching.co.uk/

I've bought some DD's for winter but waiting on my Conti's to wear out before fitting. Rest of the year I'd switch to R1's however haven't looked at the ZX's yet so might be an option...0

The ZX is supposed to be a bit heavier than the R1 but also with better puncture resistance.
The DD is a semi winter tyre so if its for summer bike then no need.
There is also a ZLX which is lighter then the ZX but has less puncture resistance again..
Did I help?

The DD rolls as well, IMO, as the R.1's. About 30g heavier at most.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

I think I might just go for the ZX, as they all seem to be pretty close.0

Ran a set of R.1's last summer with no dramas but reckon i'll treat the bike to a set of ZX's this summer/season0
