Don't worry guys - I picked up that pointy, sharp 3" nail on embankment this morning, don't you worry!

Straight through both tyre and tube from one side of the tyre to the other! Had to hold up traffic while I jogged up the hill coming out of the underpass - literally no pavement to stop or pull over onto! Bit hairy...

Thank god I carry spare inner tubes :P

Cheers! Or I might have picked that up tonight.

I have one ridden over a nail, which also attempted to destroy my rear mudguard, and once a screw, which imbedded itself in the rear rim, having passed through the tyre, both sides of the tube and the rim tape. I actually had to "unscrew" it to get it out!

    Git

Luckily for me I actually swapped it all back to my nobblies last thing last night as I wasn't sure, so it was a 3 minute fix!

I once ran over a nail that went through the tyre, both side of the tube and punched a hole clean through the rim. Had about an inch of nail sticking out. Had to go home and hammer it out!
