Any of you dropped from 120mm forks to 100mm?
Thinking about doing it, just worrying that the change may too 'racey' and give the bike a whole different feel?

The RC and Ltd have always had 100mm, you'll be fine!0

Would you go for Rock shox Sid world cup, or Magura Durin Race forks?0

It doesn't just depend how long your forks are, but the stem length, frame size, seatpost, saddle position and your own centre of gravity all play a part in how the bike handles.
My Spark was ridiculously twitchy on 100mm forks. Changing them to 115mm made a ton of difference. However, it is very unlikely that my setup is the same as yours. Why don't you try it yourself and find out?0 -

Probably because £600 is a bit of an expensive experiment if I don't like the 100mm forks..0 -
Why not pop a travel adjust spacer in and see what it's like at 100mm for very little money.0

Does the Spark 30 still come with Rebas? You can increase the travel yourself with a spanner, hammer, wooden rod and common sense.0

can you do that to a 120mm rock shox fork? Where do i buy the spacers from?
To be honest, i think the 100mm will be fine.0 -
Tank-Slapper, please explain
yes i have rebas, but want to decrease the travel..0 -
My Spark came with 100mm forks and handles like a dream. The geometry is aggressive but not overly so. After a few rides you will get used to it anyway.0

If you get the 120mm SIDs you can reduce them, may be the best long term solution!
Edit: actually no, 120mm WCs are only available with a tapered steerer. May have to be RLTs.0 -
