Garmin Edge 605/705 auto navigation?

Has anyone used it, typing your address of post code in and letting it guide you?

I don't know why, but for some reason, ever since I've got it, never worked, just starts calculating and then sticks at 100% and does nothing.

Also for those of you who have got it working, is it any good? Or does it end up taking you no busy A roads or can it be made to take nice back roads?

    I have recently bought the Edge 605.

    I tried it out on a recent ride using the post code to return to my house and it worked ok.

    Took me along what i believe was the most appropriate route.

    You can set it to avoid motorways, but I don't think that it can be set to avoid busy A roads, though I may be wrong
