Help with tyres!!

Im riding a specialized enduro 08, dhx air 0.5 rear shock fox talas 32 front suspension. The tyres i have on my bike at the moment are panaracer cinder on the front and a schwalbe nobby nic on the back.
Rode afan forest W2 and it felt like i had a house strapped to the back of my bike going up any slight incline. cant seem to generate any speed or power with these tyres. Im no fat bastard (11st) and im generally fit.
Any suggestions on some better tyres??

Nobby Nic's aren't renown for being draggy but the Cinder is - especially if it's in the 2.25" width. The Nic is often paired with a Racing Ralph, though as I don't use Schwalbe on the mountain bikes I can't really advise too well. I find that if you like the Cinder, the Panaracer Fire XC Pro is a lot less draggy, or you could have a look at Maxxis High Roller / Advantage combo - it sort of depends on the type of riding you're doing. I'd be inclined to try a match for the Nic though first.|> Save money on purchases from CycleStore, Wiggle, Merlin, Evans, Chain Reaction, Halfords and more - click here (or PM me with questions)0

The Nobby Nic is probably the fastest rolling nobly tyre out there, so your not going to improve that.
The only way you'd get a faster rolling tyre is one with less grip.
Your front has a bit more drag, but as it's out front, not going to make a massive difference if you change it.
What most people are riding tyre wise at the moment with conditions as they are, are probably more draggy than your riding. Now where's that "Get Out of Crash Free Card"0 -
rode with maxxis hi roller 2.35 up front and maxxis ignitor 2.1 rear, weather we have at the moment was a very good setup for W2 as the extra grip was warented i think, 2010 santa cruz heckler, same shock setup front and rear as yourself, but im 14 stone 4, with all the glood around right now going to get a little bogged/slowed down.Santacruz Heckler - 2010

Yup, got a NN up front with a RR out back0 -
Anyone else have any ideas of a good set up of tires. ill stick with the nobby nic just need something to pair it with. The racing ralph seems abit on the thin side for semi aggressive riding. Reading reviews on it, the side walls seem abit on the thin side. Any suggestions?0
