Currently using a Maxi Cosi Tobi, which we have been really impressed with since purchase. Excellent protection, adjustability and hard wearing, seat cover (removeable for washing).
Now, it's time to replace with the next sized model...
We looking at the Maxi Cosi Rodi Airprotect, but does anyone out there know of a better model, or maybe a reason to steer clear of the Maxi Cosi Rodi?
Appreciate all your help.
Paul

I am not familiar with the models you are looking at but the one thing I have learned is that if you have any kind of bucket or sporty seats, look for ISO fittings.
Getting the seat belts to fasten under these seats becomes a pain after a while if you are taking then in and out all the time.None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.0 -
I've just been helping a friend look for a seat. Hunt out user reviews on the web to see what people are saying about it - places like Boots, Halfords etc that sell them have places people can comment. Maybe even subscribe to the Which tests. Personally, I think most of the well-known brands (Britax, Maxi Cosi etc al) are good but they occasionally screw up functionality so do your reading.ROAD < Scott Foil HMX Di2, Volagi Liscio Di2, Jamis Renegade Elite Di2, Cube Reaction Race > ROUGH0

Both of mine are in a Rodi XR. Very pleased with it and had no probs. I bought it because of the recline function & side support. I have a standard booster seat which I keep in the car in case I'm taking one of their friends with us and both of mine hate going in the booster and always choose the Rodi instead.0

I believe the Airprotect is the latest version of Rodi. It's the recline and side protect that drew my attention, too. Glad you're pleased with it Ands. My little one hates using the 'spare' booster seat, too... Gets chucked around too much!
Daviesee I have ISO fittings in all seats, bar the drivers!
Looks like I'll be ordering two Rodi's...Start with a budget, finish with a mortgage!0 -
