Transition Blindside

Finally made my mind up and very very happy with my new toy! It's a large and comes in what Transition call their 'Raw' colour. Unfortunately having to sell my Spark to fund it but that's life.
Wheels are Transition's own, Forks are Totem coils and shock is Fox DHX RC4. Thompson seatpost, SLX cranks but XT shifters and derailleur. Chain guide is Straitline Silent Runner.
Had to compromise a bit as costs were getting out of control so not convinced on the saddle and tyres in particular but easily changed once i've raised a bit more cash.
More photos here including a few arty ones the wife insisted on taking!

wow thats nice. i'm a big fan of the blindside, it;s like a big brother of the bottlerocket
and yes, those tyres aren't good, maxxis all the way!!0 -
thats really nice how does she ride0

cheers Jay. Maxxis are what Transition list on their website for the Blindside and i'm sure i'll upgrade at some point. The Kaiser's feel a bit plastic and heavy. I'll see how they get on next weekendride your bike like a kid whilst you still can

Local trails were not really conducive for a proper test last weekend and after a couple of aborted runs we gave up so having to wait until next weekend to hit either Woburn, Chicksands or Cwmcarn. From a little demo last year and last weekends first trip it feels very planted on corners due to a low bottom bracket, but the mud was so tacky i couldn't carry enough speed to get any decent air so will have to reserve judgment for now.
Will post an update after a decent session on it.ride your bike like a kid whilst you still can

WANT. Thats bloody lovely never been a huge fan of raw finishes, but that really has changed my mind.0

cheers for the comments guys. I was unsure about the Raw finish but Nick at Captiv bikes who i bought it from told me it was really nice in the flesh and i agree. Stock they only come in 3 colours for the 2010 year and the blue / black i swund a leg over was not great (in my eyes) and the white / black on their website didn't appeal either.
I also thought in time i could always get it painted exactly the colour i wanted so no big deal anyway.ride your bike like a kid whilst you still can
