I'm having to resort to begging now. I'll explain my predicament. I've got a club ride tomorrow with stourbridge cc and I've just found out this evening that there is a horrible squeaking noise coming from my rear hub. It sounds like its metal on metal, so there wasn't enough grease in there in teh first place. So, I'm trying to strip down teh hub and regrease it but I haven't got a cassette lockring tool and there is no way off getting into the hub without taking the cassette off due to where the nuts are on teh axle.
So, has anybody got a cassette lockring tool for SRAM near Dudley that i could pick up early? Or anybody to help with the hub?
Pete

contact the club riders.
Sram is the same and Shimano FYI"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I'll go out to the shop and get a casstte lockring tool and a chain whip then. I was a bit doubtful of finding someone nearby to help me anyway.0
