freewheel for langster

where can i get hold of a 16 tooth screw on freewheel for this bike, none of my local shops can help me, and i cant find any on chain reaction, maybe im just blind lol

also when i get one can i fit a half link bmx chain to help chain durability?

    velo solo has everything.

    However, on my langster i went for a white industries eno freewheel to replace the poor quality standard item.5101594849_21952b8b97_z.jpg

    you really don't need a half link chain and they weigh a ton!

    Chainreaction sells Shimano freewheels (about 14 Pounds) just put "single speed" into the product finder and look at the bottom of the page of results. I've used the Shimano freewheels (I think they were designed for BMX) on my Langster and MTBs and they are fine - as long as you fill them up with a thinnish oil (like a 3-in-1) regularly - and cheap enough to throw away when they do get knackered.

    +1 for the Shimano MX30 freewheels. Two in 2 years with no care other than wiping the crud off them when cleaning the chain.
