Another tragedy as a fellow cyclist is killed. I've never met him but he always came across as a really decent chap when I seen him on TV. My condolences to his family and friends.

    Aweful to hear, nice chap or not. All of us commuting bretheren face this risk daily, just takes one careless/drunk/high/pissed-off driver and we're all sitting on a marble slab with a drain at one end.

    I'm going to bin it all and join a gym.

    Should we move this thread to commuting general maybe?

    Always a very sad day when we find out another one of us has fallen.

    These seems to have been quite alot of threads of recent about high profile cycling deaths, which hopefully make some people realise how vulnerable we are.
