Jens was a math prodigy in elementary school, putting "Attack!" in every blank space on all his tests. It would be the wrong answer for everybody else, but Jens is able to solve any problem by attacking.

Jens Voigt has never been in a breakaway but he has successfully dropped the peleton on a number of occasions.

Jens Voigt's Suitcase of Courage will not fit in the overhead compartment.

I'm left handed, if that matters.

My favourite, if a little tasteless -
Jens Voigt will never have a heart attack. Jens Voigt's heart isn't stupid enough to attack him

It's a little bizzare this Jens obsession.

There are plenty of better riders, who have similar do-or-die mentalities.

Jens hasn't been doing it for a while either.

His waining powers are hiding under the banner 'staying in the peleton helping my teammates', but I havn't seen him burn out half the peleton on a 100% effort on the front with 60km to go for years.

I don't doubt he has serious talismanic qualities that are probably more use than his legs, but he can't actually do anything than 90% of the pros can do in the peleton, legs wise.

His being German with an Arnie style accent and soundbites probably makes him a favourite.

    "Shut-up legs" etc.

Its just a laugh isn't it? Bit of a persona etc and it just makes for a quite appealing figure for us mere wanabee cyclists :D

My favourite is the one about him dropping his shadow :D

Jens Voigt has never made an attempt at the hour record because he could do it in less than 60 minutes.
