Hi
The wife bought me a turbo trainer for Christmas, was just wondering whether you lot change to the qr skewer that comes with your turbo or just pop your bike on and blast away?

  • Change it, only takes a few seconds.
  • I swapped mine over for the one that comes with the Tacx and just leave it in all the time.

You have to use the QR that comes with it ( well with mine that's true ).

Whether you swap back to a normal one when out on the road is up to you.

I don't, since often I go out for a short ride at lunch-time on the same bike, then do a turbo session in the evening.

I might swap it for a long ride, but usually I would just forget.

    Change it for sure.
  • Thanks for the advice, I'll just swap it over and keep on.
