But only one gear, cant decide wether this is a worn cassette, one ring worn or a knackered chain.
Cheap solutions needed as this bike is being repaired on a budget of next to nothing, i have cleaned the cassette and looking at the teeth, it doesnt look worn.

tried it for a while, ok but its one of the middle rings that jumps, so have to change past it frequently.

And as per usual, that's your favourite gear which wore out first because you use it most. Double check your indexing, wheel in straight? or mech hanger not bent, then it's new chain/cogs etc. Best of luck.FCN16 - 1970 BSA Wayfarer
