Hi everyone,

First post, so take it easy on me!

I used to be a keen'ish biker back in my teens and when I was at school, but my bike, soon went into the garage once I had a car and thus, I became lazy!

Anyway, I'm hoping to get back into it now :) as I need to get fit and improve my health! Doctors and my own orders.

I went out on my bike a few weeks back, it's a GT Aggressor 2.0, from about 10 years ago (when I was 13/14) but has served me well. However, it's a tad to small for me now  (probably 5'2" back then...I'm now 6ft)

So moving to the present day, over these last few days, I've been searching and searching and searching for a bike suitable (just to narrow it down a touch). I have about £500-£1000 to spend (hopefully via the cycletowork scheme).

For this, I reckon I can get a decent hardtail for. Not too sure if a FS will be overkill?

Type of cycling I'll be doing - across in the Peak District, Lanes, Tracks, bit of road.

The bikes I have so far short listed are the following:

GT:

Specialized:

Or other?

I'm really struggling - the full suspension ones are some I've just this second come across...

The GT's don't seem to have any reviews anywhere...

Any help would be much appreciated guys
