What do you guys take as your lunch?

Pasta recipies would be greatly appreciated along with any other suggestions.

Flask of soup(homemade), 2 slices of low GI bread (Burgen),a bananna and flask of water for tea/coffee (leave tea/cofee etc in locker)

Your probably better off investing in a couple of pasta receipe books or it will get boring quickly if you are wanting to go solely the pasta route.

    Goodluck.

Is that all? for the whole day?
  • Depends what you aim is, if it's to lose weight then the John West Tuna Lunches are good with 2 bits of fruit and a few ryvitas. (less than 500 Cal).

Nah. I have 30g of special K for breakfast and dinner will compromise of something healthy ish, last night it was chicken pesto tonight is spicey tuna with rice. Peanut did only ask about lunch so I only answered in that context and the receipe books are well worth buying we have a shelf full of which we pick different ones each week to meal plan, currently I'm waiting for two vegetarian books to arrive.

I dont think that is a bad lunch considering I sit at a desk for eight hours like I say its homemade soup bursting with goodness and containing no artifical colours and preseratives and a specific soup flask takes up very little room and can be used for casseroles etc as well.

At the end of the day you need to eat according to your own requirements.

Hope some of that makes sense.
