Hi all.
Just bought a new Giro Ionos. Lovely helmet but I find the excess strap too long once adjusted.
I would like to ask if it is possible to cut the excess off.?
Has anyone done this and did the strap fray ?
Many thanks for any help given

I cut mine down as there's nothing worse than a load of excess webbing flapping in your face - I use a butane gas soldering iron with blade attachment - it cuts and seals the ends neatly. Alternatively, use an old knife heated in a flame.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

Hi,
On a related note, I have a Giro Atmos. The plastic bits inside which hold the adjuster are showing signs of wear and will soon need replacing. Is it possible to get these, and how much should they cost, please?
Cheers,
