Morning, Sitting at my desk, spookly quiet at the moment. i can only assume that its the calm before the storm?
I wonder if my boss will show his face today? he's meant to of been in all over the holiday period, but no one has seen him and he hasnt resoponded to any emails :roll: Nobber
Get paid next monday, worked out how much money i have left to play with :P New forks to be ordered this month and potentially new HT frame next month then order the Rumblefish in March

Same here, plus the added bonus of an overheating car en route to work this morning too
but I nursed it into the car park and will check the coolant level when the engine temperature drops a few Kelvin
The upside is that it's a shorter week than normal.. Perhaps I should undertake some retail therapy seeing as Wiggle are having a sale on 0 -

Lots of work as the Local Authority parts have returned to their offices after 2 weeks off and have already started complaining.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

1st day back at work today, then I finish on Friday before I head back to uni. Today will be very long for me as my bike bits have arrived at reception but I have to wait until 5 to play with them 0

After coughing heavily, I took my hand away from my mouth to see it splattered with blood. Coughing into a tissue confirmed it, I was definitely coughing up blood. Then I checked my mouth. I've cut my tongue, the blood was coming from there. :oops:
Today, I was supposed to be meeting a friend, but now she can't make it, so I shall be endeavouring to do some work.0 -

Been given an extra day off this year, so no work for me till tommorrow. Worked out nicely as just as I was about to chase Fedex up with a parcel I was waiting for and they arrived as i was picking up the phone complete with my Pro 2 on Flow wheels in tow

is my first day back in work also, the first part of my morning has been spent with my little boy in the dental hospital after his fall on sunday, no teeth out for him yet we have to go back on friday :?
apart from that i've got an afternoon of helping our edinburgh branch with some job or other, hopefully won't finish too late as i was gonna go for a ride later

In the office, but should really have stayed at home. But, got to clear out my stuffs and hand-over what's left to my current minions before starting my new job tomorrow. Not sure what sort of 'slacking' time I'll get, so if I'm not around much during the day, you'll know why.

I'm back in work, I haven't had that long off because I was in for 2 days between xmas and new year. It was still a struggle as I was wide awake at 2am and couldn't go to sleep. I'm all coffeed up, so hopefully I'll make it through the day.
Ordered some Mud Xs and a whole 5mm of headset spacer yesterday, so hopefully they'll be sent out today and I'll be able to get a ride in during the next few days to test out my newly serviced forks.0 -

Its a major meh day today mind, 4 internationals and a Liverpool is mind numbing, plus I'm still grieving the loss of Nigel Pargetter in a Rod Hull style incident, while attractive but annoying Helen Archer lives (this is not real life btw)

Morning all and Happy New Year. I was away in darkest Wales-land for the festive season, a place where there is no mobile phone signal, no Internet and - curiously - no rain to speak of. There was a good DH scene in the village, just a few kids with Kona Shreds etc and FFs but they had built an ace jump/pump track in the woods and they were hitting it hard most days. Sadly I was on foot so I wasn't able to show them the best lines *ahem*.
Back to the Land of Traffic Lights aka the West Midlands this morning but still in the holiday mood so minimal meh (so far).0 -

Morning all,
1st day back at work here as well. Luckily it seems nothing too major has happened over Xmas so I can ease back into it all.
Riding over Xmas was a complete abortion. Had 4 days “booked” to get out, 3 of which were scuppered by various sick babysitter/seized BB/house falling apart type disasters, so only got out the once for a short blast. Ground was so muddy and “cloggy” that I soon had tyres in the perfect shape of my chainstays and fork bridge.
Xmas itself was pretty good, did ok on the pressie front. Didn’t manage 2 Xmas dinners though due to timings.
And now, for the 1st time in 2011……..

I've been meaning to bring the bike up to work and go afterwards but I never got round to it!0 -

I've been meaning to bring the bike up to work and go afterwards but I never got round to it!
i usually just hit the local cycle path to be honest, there's an 18 mile route with a bit of off road through a forest (about a mile) then loops back onto the cycle path then home. i try and do it just to keep a little bit fit 0 -

First day back at work, And planning my campaign to find a new job, and maybe a new career path as finance really does blow goats...
Otherwise all is dandy last few things to sort with my lights before the first solid night ride with them. should be fun.
