    It's too warm for winter gear at the moment - didn't think I'd moan about this but I can't get my layers right at the moment!

    IIRC summer comes somewhere between June 30 and July 1............?

    First day of summer is usually considered to be the summer Soltice, 21st June.

    As for being over 10C for a commute, probably some time in February (pm), of course it will be a sunny day following a frosty morning so you'll be boiling up nicely in what was the right kit for 0C first thing!
