Hi,
I am thinking of buying a second hand Rock Shox Tora 318 Solo Air and I think it's the 2008 model. What do you think about it and do you know what the maximum rotor size is? Also I was wondering if the 2008 model or 09 (I am not sure) has a travel of 130mm and also motion control? It also says that you can adjust the travel by internal spacers. What does that mean?
Thanks

You buy a spacer pack, take apart the fork, put the spacers in and it will reduce the travel, remove spacers and it will increase travel. Often they run from 80-130mm.
No it doesn't contain Motion ControlTrek Madone 3.5 (RS80s, Arione)

The 318 does have motion control, albeit with fixed floodgate.0 -

Their a great fork for the money. I put som eon my giant anthem, as the standard 100mm wasnt enough for my local riding. They totally transformed the bike and the speed of my riding. pretty bomb proof as well.0
