My First Enduro Event

Hiya all, first post and all that..
I'm after a little advice, basically I just entered my first event in March and I'd like to know what to expect, it's the Wentwood 50 in South Wales.
I raced a lot of XC back in the early and mid 90's before switching the the road where I raced up until 2 years ago so I'm used to the atmosphere at races, but all of a sudden after entering I've become terrified (although it's partially to do with the 30lb in weight I've gained in the 2 years I've been off the bike) ;?)
Are we talking propper race tension or more of a relaxed atmosphere? I don't suppose it makes a difference as I'm doing it regardless but I'd be greatful of a heads up..
Cheers

I have entered this event as well, also used to race in the early days.
No, endurance events are much more relaxed, you get a real mix of riders from first timers up to pros.0 -
Enduros are always pretty relaxed, because categories are just for all comers there's proper whippets next to have a go heroes, they're good fun.0
