Second hand Dahon or Brompton

Hi all

To help the training for the summer London to Paris, I'm looking to get a folder work the work commute in and around Cardiff. I'm looking for a second hand Ebay or similar. Are there any issues with damage that relate to this kind of bike - specifically the hinge mechanism?

    the centre folding mechanisms should not be an issue. the springs on the headset folding lockunit have been known to fail on a dahon.

    there is a shop near mine (called east coast cycles) in hull which is selling a used dahon... i think its an sl curve?? google for the shop, its owner is a guy called nick. he should be able to give some more info.
