Budget front light recommendation

Need a cheap light to leave on whilst I'm shopping and stuff, riding around town. Smart have a couple 1W and 3W. But I don't want one with rubbish rubber strap mountings. Any with fixed plastic type with slide fittings for the light?
Say... That's a nice bike..

I use Electron Nano 9 and Nano 1, they have a metal body, survive being dropped and are well sealed from the weather.

What's the difference between Nano 1 & 9 (apart from number of LED's) Which one is brighter?Say... That's a nice bike..

I got a Smart 25 lux set for Christmas, and have been very impressed with it so far. It gets good reviews, but I don't have much to compare it with.
My requirement was for something that would give me some chance of actually seeing things with it rather than just being seen.

I use the blackburn flea, its great for being seen and the battery lasts for ages even though its USB rechargeable, think they go for about £20 but i believe they have a lifetime guarantee0

The Nano 1 is slightly brighter, both are much brighter than my Cateye HL-EL300, though they are not as bright as the newer LED's, both are good enough for riding lit streets. I use a Cree torch from Ebay for unlit roads, with a different mount for it though.
Revolution Vision Hi Power also is similar to the Nano set and gets a good review.0 -
I got one of these last year, been absolutely spot on http://www.parker-international.co.uk/10627/Sigma-Sport-Triled-LED-Front-Light.html
The built in clasp/bracket works very well, it's got flashing/still modes, it's bright and feels well made.0
