Don't know if this has ever been done before but, I was just wondering how male dominated this forum is so,

are you male or female.

No options for ladyboy and geezerbird? How insensitive.
  • Apparently I'm 13% female

Oh I dunno, get the right 13% and you'd never need to leave the house

    Male. I think? :?
  • How does that work?

At the time of viewing current results are:

    Female - 10%
    Male - 89%

There is a missing 1% - perhaps Shmo's Ladyboys are prevalent here.
There's no such thing as too old.

I'm guessing it's as male-dominated as the general cycling population.

I didn't think it would be this dominated though. Currently only 14% female.
If you look @ the pros, women put us blokes to shame!

Not sure what you mean? That the female pros put the average amateur male to shame?

Why would the mix of male/female contributors to this forum be any different from the mix you'd find in any club, on any sportive, at any other cycling event or just out on the road going for a ride?

But is the disproportion between male and female users to do with cycling, or is it to do with this being an internet forum? Every single forum I've ever read has been vastly male-dominated.

    That's true.

Even lesbiancollegegirls.com seems to have more male contributors than female.

    I wonder why that is?

Maybe because homosexual females and heterosexual men share a common interest?

As usual, I don't word things very well.
Probably still won't get it right but all I was trying to say is that the pro female cyclists are doing better in the sport than the pro blokes, as it's such a male dominated sport in this country,

    I think I'll quit whilst I'm behind!
