Rockshox Recon TK from Merlin Cycles?

I assume they are reputable e-seller?

Anyone have any other recommendations, new or even secondhand for around this price?

I have an 2005 Orange Gringo. Does anyone know if Recon forks are suitable for this frame, or what I should do to check suitability?

1) Merlin are a very good retailer, never had problems with them yet
2) Recons would be suitable for the bike
3) If you want those recons they'd be cheaper from on-one

4) If you wanted something lighter see if you could get an air sprung fork as opposed to a coil fork, second hand you might be able to get some rs rebas

For 100 quid, amazing forks. Are similar to last years Tora, but still, you won't get better for the money.

boys at merlin are top notch, ordered a set of CR's via theyre ebay site for £210, had i oredered from the merlin website i could have had them for £188 (10% disount) rang them up and they refunded me the 10% via paypal - they didnt have to, as it was my error for not looking in the first place but they did

i bought mine from merlin, they were delivered in 2 days and they're great forks for the money (pic in my sig shows them)

I got some of those from Merlin; arrived as quickly as they could in the snow, and they're very nice forks compared to stock OEM ones like Suntours.

I have rock shox on three of my bikes, Tora, tora single air and recon air remote, all are great, I do however find that I am not able enough to get the firmness that I want from the springs and if you can afford to go more then air is better. But that is only my personal opinion having three different sets of rock shox.
