Les portes du soleil 2011 (June 24/25/26)

Anyone interested in doing this
I think it can be fun
I will most likely drive there starting very early on Friday
Camp Friday night
Ride Saturday and get back on the road after a night sleep on Sunday morning
We are looking at 12 hours solid drive each way plus crossing and any other delays

The classic circuit is a tour of the Portes du Soleil, about 80 km / 50 miles
Approximately 80 km / 50 milles - 14 ski-lifts - 7000m of total downhill
9 different resorts to start from:
- In France: Avoriaz, Châtel, Les Gets, Morzine and Montriond-Les Lindarets.
- In Switzerland: Champéry, Morgins, Torgon and Les Crosets.
1000 m of total uphill climb
7 refreshement points
Start at any time between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. from each resort.

That's about 24 hours drive all in
Hopefully I will have mate(s) with me so we will relay at the wheel and should be ok

i think he just means to do the passeportes du soleil 'race' . i know there's loads of riding there you probably wouldn't do it all in a month
