What wheels

I am building a Van Nic road bike. I have got frame and 'red' groupset carbon fork, stem and bars etc. The question is - what wheels? This is going to be a road club bike and perhaps looking to spend as much as £500. All the offers from the different websites are sold out or won't take SRAM. This is the last component choice. Help?

Shimano Dura Ace WH7850 C24 CL are my recommendation. They are light, bizarrely comfortable, pretty stiff, fairly aerodynamic, look good and spokes are easy to come by if ever needed...

In budget when you apply the 10% basket discount.

  • Thanks for the reply. These do look good!

On a different topic; boy am I glad I bought a van nick Ti frame and not some of the others that are the subject of heated discussion on these pages

    Thanks again :D

+1, this is what was also recommended to me on this forum and they are excellent wheels, believe me. Strongly recommended and much preferred over a set of Zipp 404's which I had on a previous bike.
Summer - Dolan Tuono with Sram Force and Dura-Ace 7850 CL Carbon wheels
Winter - old faithful Ribble winter bike
SugarSync cloud storage referral link (better than DropBox atm imho) https://www.sugarsync.com/referral?rf=mzo2tcrhm5gn
