Hillingdon Winter Series -- women's racing

Just a reminder that Imperial RT is holding two women's all category races (was supposed to be three, but Boxing Day was cancelled for everyone due to ice on the circuit) as part of their winter series this year.
Details are here, but the main thing is the races start at noon on Jan 1 and Jan 3. Women's-only separate races sharing the circuit with the 3rd cats races.
Next summer there will be women's-only races every other Wed. evening together with BC Master's races. I'm hoping to see a good number of women turn out as it would be a shame if all this work was put into organising women's races for only a handful of people!
Hillingdon is a fairly flat and non-technical circuit but with opportunities to attack and get away. The races I've done have seen the bunch more or less stay together (both men's and women's) with the odd breakaway being successful. Great winter training as well.
Spread the word, encourage your female clubmates to come out and race!

The bank holiday races saw about 20 women turn out, which was excellent! Hopefully a sign of good things to come this season in women's racing.0
