Hi, Just wondering if anybody has got one of these for commuting in.
I'm thinking of purchasing one as you only need baselayer underneath so no faffing about at 5.30 in morning, but will it be too warm for cycling in, has anyone got one they can tell me about it.

Cheers Mati

You would cook in it, I have one for hill walking and its too warm with only a thin base under neath if the temp is over 5C. Great bit of kit, but also to bulky for on the bike.

    A Buffalo style Pile/Pertex combo.
I use a zip-up pile/pertex (Mardale Alaska) for nipping into town and for easy rides on colder days.
These garments are very warm when active but great on cold damp days. 5C is probably the upper limit for comfort.

The Paramo smock is more versatile for UK winters.

Paramo would work, I like the look of the quito jacket. But 180 quid
