I came a across a sports chain type shop called GO! I'd say on par with JB Sports.. but they sell bikes AND spares.
The MTBs were house brand hardtail crap with Suntour forks, budget components and brakes
They also had SS bikes for €300 (£256) and spares galore, it seems as if the French love Siglespeeds and are quite content carrying out maintenance themselves
A nice high res image so you can check out the somewhat criminal prices they charge for that Shimano branded [tat] stuff
Two Hutchinson Scorpion tyres 26x2.00 and tubes for £30 a good deal?
Lots of SS bikes and although they have sprockets on both sides of the rear hub, both have ratchets, as in no fixie side!

I did, it's gone now, all the bits were used to build hubby a bike he can fit on...the 19" Merlin was far too big for his stumpy legs

You have Go! in the UK as well. Was one in Coatbridge with various bike spares (wouldn't mention the bikes themselves as were dodgy Raliegh types. Sister had commented that the equestrian stuff was decent too (though not spectacular).
In short (and UK at least), a poor man's DecathlonFormally known as Coatbridgeguy0 -
*whispers* anyone wanna buy a bike?...it's cheap! and poo

it's got a Tora 318 and basic rockshox shock hasn't it? If that weight is reasonable I wouldn't say it was necessarily shite-ers0

it's about 31lbs in weight, once I'd junked the 1lb cassette !!! plus lighter wheels now and some other bits of lighter kit, nothing much though
