I am looking in buying overshoes for those long winter rides. I have been looking some in Evans Cycles, and they have some socks type and others with stretchy neoprene. So which once are good for this bitter winter weather? and any suggestion is welcome. Happy New Year to you all.

The socks type will mostly keep your shoes clean (in warmer temperatures). The neoprene ones will be more waterproof and warmer. Get those. :)
  • will they keep the wind out too?

as said id go with the neoprene to keep the wind and shoot out. if youve experienced feet like blocks of ice when the rest of you is warm, these will stop that. it took me several freeze thaw cycles before i bought a pair, now riding is noticably less painfull.
