In my local. I'll be making my way there shortly and what gets on my threpnies is folk who go in once a year (xmas day) and moan like chuff 'cos they don't get served straight away inspite of the pub being rammed. Afterall if it was left up to them the pub would have shut years ago due to lack of custom .

    I have noticed similar, Frank.

Then again, I'm happy these people stay away for the rest of the year!

I wouldn't know. But churches have a bar? I may have to get involved in this religion lark.

  • At least yours are open! Closed here today (understandable) and Good Friday (joke). Funnily enough, on Good Friday the trains serve alcohol so needless to say they're packed - doesn't matter where they're going. It is fun then walking around the city watching all the tourists looking totally confused because everything else is closed as well...
Visit Ireland - all of it! Cycle in Dublin and know fear!!

It's the same people who probably enjoy themselves and say "we must do this more often" and never bother - thankfully
