Merry Christmas! Can't sleep as I feel like crap and have to be up at 4.30 for work, the bonus being I caught my 7 year old trying to sneak into the lounge 10 mins ago! Heh heh, I put the fear of god into her :D

Merry Christmas to you and your families and loved ones from a sunny Kabul.

Nap, I feel you pain working on Xmas day. I've got 6 months of 14 hour days without a single day off! I think I may lose a little cycling fitness before I get home.

Have a drink or 2 for me; this place is very 'dry'.

Merry christmas mate, PITA working but I always put it into perspective (thinking of the lads in the forces etc who don't get to see their families at all!).

    I will have a drink later :)
  • Have a great and crispy Christmas everybody. And merrymomentous catch-up festivities to those who are working today.

Does being the family cycling postman count as working?

Thankfully there is Skype on base so at least I get to see them enjoying themselves. My wife will be skyping while drinking my favourite Champagne. Hopefully she'll be able to get my bike in the background too. How I miss them both!

Skype warning: Skype just crashed on me, taking the PC out along with it. I rebooted and it did it again. I think I may be using Googletalk until Skype mend themselves.
