I have recently purchased a Trek Scratch Air and I want to ditch the outer chainring on the triple and fit a Dual Chain Guide. I have used e*thirteen guides before and was looking at the DRS guide, which comes in two option: ISCG OLD/BB Mounts and ISCG-05... The problem is that the Scratch has ISCG-03 tabs on it... Which would be the better fit?!

Fairly sure ISCG 03 is another name for ISCG old, but to double check measure the distance between the bolt holes - if its 47.77 and 47.79 then its ISCG old, if they are 55.92 its ISCG new

  • Sorted ... ISCG-03 is indeed the ISCG-OLD .... I find it a little strange how I have two bikes, frames produced in the same year, but have different ISCG tabs - the Scratch has the old ones and the P7 has the 05...
  • the 05 is due to E13 standard I think. something they introduced.

Yeah E13 mainly with a few other manufacturers. Confusingly they thought it up and released it in 2003 instead of the name 2005
