Can I get 23mm tyres on standard Tricross rims?

The Alex ACE-19 rims are a bit wide, just wondering if I can get away with going down to 23mm, or should I go with some 25mm tyres?

Have a look at this link. It says you should probably stick with 25mm tyres.

Cheers for that. Yeah looks like 25mm will be safest...FCN 2 to 80 -
From first hand experience, yes, 23mm will fit. I normally run 25mm on the same Alex rims for commuting, but noticed the rear tyre was almost worn down to the casing. The only spare tyres I had lying around were 23mm and these fitted onto the rim without any problems.0

It's all about Sheldon Brown - http://www.sheldonbrown.com/tire-sizing.html - scroll down to Width Considerations, near the bottom, red and green table
You shouldn't go below 25mm0
