Recommended by The Comic (page 86, Dec 16th)

Has anyone bought a pair?
Are they worth the cost?

Overshoes, shoes and two layers of socks just not keeping the frostbite at bay.

    Probably not much help but I got the Lake equivalent of these for about 50 quid less. They are fabulous, so the principle of the winter boot is proven as far as I am concerned. I have heard good things about the Gaerne so I would shop around, look at the Lakes as well (Shimano do one too) and take the plunge.

    Northwave make some as well, they're pretty nice.
