Not one to do on your own though, and certainly not in winter. If you're interested I might be able to find some .gpx files.0 -

This sounds awesome. I couldn't see a route map in the article at all? Do you know if there is one, or GPS files?Offroad: Canyon Nerve XC8 (2012)

Oooh - this looks like my commute
Sounds like a good route - the bit around Aviemore I know well and the Great Glen route follows the Maggie's Bike n Hike route by the sound of it.
If I can help with local knowledge (especially the bits around Inverness) then let me know.ROAD < Scott Foil HMX Di2, Volagi Liscio Di2, Jamis Renegade Elite Di2, Cube Reaction Race > ROUGH0 -

Sorry, not logged on over the christmas period much. We actually used the information in the article to trace a route: there are enough clues if you use something like memory map to follow it.
If you PM me your email address I'll see if I can get you some GPX files.
This is not a route to tackle on your own. I'd recommend at least three of you. We did it as a group of five with backup driver. It was fantastic: the trip of a lifetime and something I'll always remember.0 -
Thanks rhext, i send a MP0
