  • I`ve paid and entered this, I`m looking forward to it.There are some great views and scenery. Lots of hills to test my legs and lungs.

  • rubbish new name, really shite and annoying

    avoid
  • Why would you avoid an event just because you don't like the name?
  • Yeah why avoid?
  • Go on Andy tell em about the lack of signage and the missing marshalls/drink/food stations . Tell about having to fill water bottles from the tap in the gents and all the other complaints as listed by forumites.

But to be fair, also tell 'em about the spectacularly beautiful and challenging route!

Don`t just give us half a story let us have it then? :o
  • Ive done this event twice.

1st time was superb, great route, great marshalling and a superb day all round.

2nd year the marshalling was a bag of sh1te and the food stations were not as good and too far apart. (thinking of the one that moved from Whitewell to Chipping for some bizarre reason), but the route was still utterly stunning.

I will be doing this again, I just hope they sort the marshalling out.

The trouble is that this event is also being placed head to head with the Phil Liggett CTC Challenge Ride event on the same day.

I do hope that we are not going to have the Rydale Rumble on the same day again this year!
