Why not just use a bolt through skewer instead of QR?
Never heard of them, have you budgeted to get them built into your rims potentially with new spokes?

did look at the link, but 10mm bolt axle is a lot stiffer than QR. QR is road bike tech and does not belong off road. Why would I care about 150g of bike weight, I just ate 400g of cookies while reading this?0

was thinking of building them myself have a lot of experience straightening and replacing spokes so thought i'd take the next step. Sorry Bennet you did reply but i thought i may have more luck in tech for the Bolt up question. its to go on a single speed bike with horizontal drop outs.0
