on an impulse, i'd say the band is The Jezabels

and the track would be from - Hurt Me -- Easy To Love -- A Little Piece from the Danny Mac vid.

But I think Dark Storm has it.

How the fuck these are unsigned is beyond me (unless they want to remain indie of course)
  • I'm going to have a Joint two!

Afternova - Sunset in Dubai, everything a Emotional Trance tune should be, plus they played it for me in Rhodes, so it reminds me of a fantastic Holiday.

And Kim Svard - You & I, just because the breakdown made mine and the other halfs hairs stand on end.

when you've got nearly 12TB of music it's a bit difficult to chose one song, I suppose I could have chosen something by JLS

12TB wtf man you need to stop pirating music and get out more! unless you mean via a music streaming service or something.

Some's paid for, some's free but none of it's pirated.

You must be joking me, thats a rediculous amount of music even in an uncompressed file type, how many albums is that even?

You don't mean 1.2TB do you?

    I call bullcrap. Complete bullcrap.
    Hell, I even call shenanigans.
According to my rather hungover maths, that would give you roughly 857 day's worth of uncompressed CD quality wav files.
Now, compress that to MP3, AAC, FLAX, OGG, or whatever, and it becomes apparent that no, you do not own that much music.

Well, it's actually nearer 681 days given the actual storage on each unit is nearer 900GB, and so maybe number 12 only has around 430GB of stuff on it. The total also includes quite a bit of music video. It's all uncompressed as it's easier to then transfer to another format for playback if needed.

Can't remember the album count as I don't take any notice anymore. When I was 20 I know I had around 2000 CDs and 4000 plus LPs. It's not that difficult to get lots of music cheap at auction or car boot fairs. Last lot of around 700 CDs cost me £47.58. As it's all decent stuff I've kept maybe 200 that I didn't have, but sold another 300 and given the rest to the local BHF shop.

And I know I don't and can't listen to it all.

Oh yes it is. That is more music than most reccord companies have ever produced.
over 600 days of continuous music? bollocks.

Depends how much video there is.

TBH I think there are enough different 10-minute-long Deadmau5 Rob Swires remixes to fill up every hard drive in Wales so it doesn't seem so mad. Well, I say different, they've got different names but as far as I can tell could be the same track.

Think what you like. If you take for example the Ozric Tentacles and Alexander Scriabin
i've got on the iphone at the moment totals over a 2 days continuous music, you'll soon realise how easy it is to have that amount.

I reckon you only have that much music so you can "show off" to people.

Oh yes, 'look at my little row of black boxes with red lights locked in the cupboard next to the cabinet with my ancient Dell. Be careful not to get caught up in the Cbeebies comic crafts glue that will probably fall on you head. You can look at the back up little black boxes if you want, they're in the cuboard under the stairs next to the rolls of dog poo bags'

If I wanted to show off to people I'd buy a ferrari.
