Creating a website... well, finding a host anyway

Right, I'm sure someone in Cake Stop can help me with this.
I want to find a cheap web host thingy so that I can create a Word-based website. The reason for this is that I want to basically upload some documents, perhaps with a little title page hyperlinking them for ease of access, for people in my department to access off-site (I'm not trying to make people work harder, there are a couple of people work part time and it would make their lives easier to be able to access work documents off site).
Anyhow, anything that I've looked at usually has it's own site builder - I want to create pages in Word and then just upload them. I know it's not very spohisticated, but this isn't some sales website, just something to make people's lives easier at work.
Does anyone have a suitable recommendation where I can just upload my already created pages?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but with Google docs wouldn't I only be able to upload documents? I also need to create some sort of title page so that people can 'navigate' around the available stuff...
Of course, if this is possible then it's the answer, and free which is even better...0 -
Sounds like you don't need a web site at all. Try dropbox http://www.dropbox.com/I may be a minority of one but that doesn't prevent me from being right.

Try google projects then, I've used it for exactly the purpose you're suggesting.0
