Summer trip to Devon

Does anyone have any suggestions and tips for a good route to Devon? A group of us are planning to cycle from Marlow (South Buckinghamshire) down to Devon and then spend a few days sitting on the beach. We plan to cycle approx 80 to 90 miles a day for 3 days.
Any ideas and hints would be most appreciated.

    Dunno about around Reading but as you go west something like

    Devises, Trowbridge, Shepton Mallet, Glastonbury, Bridgwater, Minehead, Ilfracombe
    will get you to the North coast

    I can give you detailed route advice for west of Shepton Mallet

    For the south coast
    Salisbury, Shaftesbury, Sherbourne, Yeovil, Crewkerne, Axminister, Honiton, Exmouth, Star Cross Ferry, Teignmouth

    Please remember that there is some bumpiness in Devon. If you pick a route from Seaton to Exmouth via Beer and Branscombe your knees and your brake blocks might not be happy
